The container is made of "mutton white"jade with shape of eagle. The lid of the container has a young eagle carving. Underneath the tail of the mother eagle protecting a young dragon. The mother eagle is staring backward at both the young eagle and young dragon to make sure they are well protected. The noble character of loving not only the own loved but also the others has fully been expressed. The motif of dragon has been shown on both wings, with the Yu-I(fullfilness of one's wishes) curly cloud motif on the tail. Both motifs are the symbol of nobleness and luck. The inscription of "Kwan-Wu-Yu-Zhi" on the chest has identified the originality of the container. To be more specific, it was made by the order of the first emperor of Eastern Han dynasty about two thousands years ago. Juding from the extreme valuable mutton white jade, the perfect design and historic significance, this artifact is no doubt one of the most valuable one for serious collectors. It was owned by Mr. Mei who held important positions both in the Nanjing government and the Guó Mín Dăng in the early period of the Republic of China.
